University Projects
The following are projects I developed during my Part 1 degree at university. These include an overview of each project, my design process that I applied to each brief, its development, the conclusion of my work presented in drawings and models and the different challenges that each project presented me.
The university of liverpool new senate house
My final project of my undergraduate degree was to design a new senate house for our own university. We too had to research what a ‘senate house’ was too before we could start. This was an interesting project dealing with the delicate separation of public and private space.
Southport’s ichthyic Center
My first 3rd year project was a Sustainable Ichthyic (meaning fish related) Center. This was a fun project as from the start there was little immediate context leaving a lot of room for development on your own, which was my first real experience of this design freedom, which can be daunting.
BIM Project
With the introduction of BIM into the industry I revisit one of my old projects as I teach myself about the technology.
liverpool youth theatre
During my second year we were given this project to develop a youth theatre. An interesting project with a different focus from previous, which posed new design challenges for us all. The shift towards a more engaging design language was hard to grasp at the beginning.
What do I put here?
I have started this website to document my personal experiences and the development of my understanding of architecture as I study it. I would like to share my personal experiences and how each one has helped me progress.
I can be serious and playful and this serves as an archive of my personal work, experience and fun memories, I hope you enjoy.
