Bim or building information management is a style of managing your design through a 3D model from which you can take your drawings and renders. With demand for knowing BIM growing I have begun learning certian programs such as Vectorworks.
Just like when you are learning anything new, you don’t just jump in the deep end. You start small, so this is my small start with just a basic garden shed. 4 walls, a floor and a roof.
After I had modelled the shed my next project was to revisit a project from university. Using my old design and slightly altering it I produced a BIM model which could be used for renders and technical drawings such as sections and plans.
With those images and pictures from the site I can then composite them to produce my renders.
